Sold to any club and loaned back to Wycombe for the rest of the season!
Wonder what happened to Andy Baird, has he ever been invited back to the legends lounge.
Shows how bad things where in those early games as I’d completely erased any memory of him playing for us this season
Alex Samuel gets a late equaliser for Patrick at Morton.
Reece Styche scores for Banbury United in their FAC4QR tie against St Albans City.
Chatham’s winner was scored by an Adam Leathers, but I’m not sure whether it’s the same one who used to play for us.
Can’t imagine there’s too many of them. Apparently it is.
If there are two Przemysław Kaźmierczaks there can be two of anyone!
“A dinked cross from Steven Lawless found Tony Watt and his header was back into the box and Alex Samuel leaped like a salmon to head home from close range and grab a much-deserved equaliser.” PTFC official.
The classic football simile, used in no other situation.
partick. i’ve made the same mistake.
Damn you, Patrick! Apropos of nothing, I went to school with former WWFC youth team captain, Patrick (Pat) Lynott. He had a rasper tipped over the bar in Jason Cousins’ testimonial. He was a big Celtic fan so even though he didn’t score, a special moment for him to get on the pitch.
Anyway, well done Patrick, Partick, and Alex Samuel.
Always look out for the Jags, results as the out laws are from Partick and still reside there. For those who like a drop of the electric soup, there are not many better supping areas than Partick. Numerous independent and interesting Pubs, and even one’s for the warm beer fanatics on the Dumbarton Rd. And you have Byres road, where you have some more quirky and younger venues, including the alfresco one’s in Ashton Lane. Drinking outside on the cobbled lane, in the West of Glasgee takes a rare kind of bravery, outside of July and August !!
The downside is Thistle haven’t played in Partick for nearly 120 years, in fact when the Jags last played there Partick wasn’t even part of Glasgow, but an independent suburb outside it. But it’s relatively easy to get from Partick to Maryhill on the subway, change at Kelvinbridge, takes about 10 minutes and then a short walk to Firhill.
But if you are taking a Jags game in, Partick offers a touch of traditional Glasgee without any chain pubs, it’s predominantly a Rangers area, but their are two or three pubs that the Celtic fans frequent. And many that don’t allow football colours or any kind of support for either of Glasgow’s Two Ugly Sisters, especially in Byres Rd. Walter Smith used to own the Rosevale and was a staunch Rangers pub, so probably best to avoid that one if you have a swinging crucifix on a gold chain. But it general its a very friendly and interesting part of Glassgee and a fabulous place to do a pub crawl. You have approx 16 bars on the 600 metre stretch of the Dumbarton Rd, before you turn into Byres Rd. You also have the West of Scotland Cricket Ground, where the 1st Scotland v England football, International took place, with a cracking little pub called Stumps, just around the corner.
Eze scores his second England goal
Graham Potter named as Sweden manager
Great move for him as Sweden are all but out of the WC 2026. Next important game is September 2026 when the Nations League starts.
Gives him time and if he somehow manages to win the last two qualifiers and get through the play-offs he will be lauded in Sweden.
Nope, Sweden can still qualify for the WC due to them winning their nations league group. And Potter’s contract is short term, based on him getting them there…
Kone adjacent video about the Homeless World Cup (he’s mentioned as coming through the event ans making sure all players got Sketchers boots as part of his sponsorship).
absolutely amazing that a squad with as much talent as Sweden’s can perform so poorly
That’s why I said all but out. They need to hope other teams don’t qualify and they then need to win 2 more play off games to qualify.
What looks crazy is they could qualify for the WC with just 1 point from 6 Group games!
I’m amazed they have given him a six month contract when the chances of him getting them through the various stages are so slim.
Good luck to him, he can move back to Sweden which I’m sure he will enjoy.
Almost everyone in UEFA can still qualify!
D’Mani Mellor apparently set to accept a callup from Yemen
