Former WWFC Footballers

I remember seeing a game at Loakes Park in which he scored two own goals (at least that how I remember it).

Cheeky finish from Kone today

Abbott set to go on loan to Mansfield

Good opportunity for the lad, shame about his injuries here as he was definitely promising.

Half decent player. Overrated by many on here. Very raw. Will probably come good in the next 12-18 months, but too early for him to be regularly starting for top half sides. Mansfield won’t finish top half.

He certainly never hit the heights he did the previous season at Notts County. 15-20 games in a low pressure environment is exactly what his career needs.

Makes me wonder if we used the “He’s injured” excuse to not fight Spurs & try and keep him for the rest of season

Uche Ikpeazu has left St Johnstone and signed for Ross County.

One of those players where I think he never really quite realised his full potential.

It certainly took us a while to get the best out of him (not least because he arrived crocked) but the purple patch he had with us was impressive.

Matt Phillips released by Oxford.

Could be just what we need. Anyone kept up with his Oxford days ?

Sadly I have heard they havent thought a lot of him at all. However, short term I’d take a punt now he is a free agent and see if something in him can be rekindled like with McCleary.

Kian Breckin signs permanently for Altrincham

Let us hope the young lad can build a career from that point. Good luck Kian.

Scored the only goal tonight, on his debut, at Queen’s Park to take County off the bottom place.

I saw Matt Phillips on Christmas Day, at the Crazy Bear restaurant in Beaconsfield. I didn’t see what he had for Christmas lunch.

Maybe Matt Ingram could come back to us. Seems to be wasting away at Oxford. Maybe his namesake could do us a favour and send him our way.

Nice match winning goal by James Berry against the horse punchers today.

Great goal too. Someone call your Bristol Rovers mate and tell them he’s a Wycombe player.
