Sam Vokes is retiring.

Huge congratulations to him for the career he’s had!

Nice sentiments in his statement - definitely created lasting memories for me.

I wonder if he could have coached Fink to actually look like a striker?

He’s a footballer not a magician @Bayo

Scott Davies has left Slough Town and is the new Aldershot Town manager. He played for the Shots in three loan spells.

Joe Jacobson ran in the London Marathon on Sunday.

Fortunately not in a Reading shirt

Anyone spot the player who went onto play for WWFC ?

Goalkeeper Steve Crompton

Correct, sometimes cruelly nicknamed Trumpton for his less than impressive displays. Didnt last long as number 1.

Tjay De Barr finished the season with 18 goals in all competitions (11 league, 5 Europe, 1 Rock Cup, 1 Pepe Reyes Cup).

Can we get him back as Bradley’s striker coach ?

Come on son, Finky Baby would be scoring 30 a season over there.

Thanks for calling me Son by the way - I feel 50 years younger already !

All Fink needs to do is score an Essandoh esque level of importance goal and all else will be forgotten.

Left it too late sadly.

In fairness, even that goal only kept him at the club another couple of months or so!

Fans were offering to pay John Granville to fly first class to get him back and get Crompton out of the team.

In the Conference League too?

No, I think that’s a good few steps up in quality.
