cheers for that. Sounds like he’s had quite a difficult time of it at various times over the years

Interesting read, we have another young star on the up now, lets hope Kone’s path is a better one and he goes on to have a long career.

Ive been saying it for a long time.

I’d love to bring him home to give him a few seasons of joy before he hangs up his boots.

Sam Saunders and Gareth Ainsworth among those completing their Uefa Pro licenses.

Ibe coming back to us would be a huge positive for both sides I think. Is there room for a non-data signing?

How would signing a player who unfortunately can no longer make any real impact in non league be a win for us?

Not sure about this new look from De Barr

He needs De Barrber.

Came off at half-time in today’s game. 90 mins for Bartolo in the end as Gibraltar lost 7-0 after nearly taking the lead and only trailing 2-0 at HT. Taking off De Barr and Annesley proved costly as the teenage debutants who came on weren’t prepared for the level of opposition they were dealing with. Wiseman clearly has one eye on Monday’s game against the Faroe Islands which he thinks he can get something from, so the more experienced players like El Hmidi, Britto and Bent will feature in that game.

Tough last 30 minutes, but really impressive/encouraging for Bartolo to get the full 90.

Yeah throwing in Carrington and Gibson against Croatia for their debuts may have been throwing them into the deep end a bit. I was impressed by the LB Mauro though, held his own.

I think if Gareth was still manager, Jordon would be exactly the kind of signing we’d be making.

Will he turn at Gillingham on the 1st July?

Can see why blind stats aren’t popular at the moment but also seeing as his last 3 clubs have been non-league and he hasn’t managed 10 games for any of them it’s pretty unlikely he suddenly gets a long term contract in the league. 78 games in 5 years is the closest he’s been to a regular anywhere at any time in his career.
It would be great if he could rediscover some of his talent and make a career out of football but many don’t and he will have made a good living from it. Getting somewhere he can enjoy himself and maybe give back to young pro’s would be a win.

Jason McCarthy continues to build his coaching resume. This seems like an exceptional course for him to take, given the level of Spanish-speaking players and staff in the game.
