With the regular season nearly done and dusted, what better way to fill the usual summer void, than with a World Cup predictions tournament?
There are 104 matches, so there’s plenty of chances to rack up points.
How it works
- Head to the Gasroom Hub’s prediction section
- Sign in using your usual forum username and password.
- Start entering your scores
Before each match kicks off, you will be able submit predicted scorelines. Predictions can be made up until one minute before kick-off.
All group games can be predicted from today. Knockout games will become available once both teams become known.
Scores will then be auto-calculated into a leaderboard in real-time.
Points are awarded as follows:
- 5 points for predicting an exact score
- 2 points for getting the result right (win, lose or draw), but not the exact score
- 0 points for predicting an incorrect result
The highest scoring user, who is a forum subscriber or donated to the W3/Fink player sponsorships, can win Fink’s match worn & signed shirt, and dressing room plaque. Hopefully this will become cult merch, after Bradley has a barnstorming 2026/7 season with 20+ goals.
We have some irons in the fire for some other prizes, for runners-up and non-subscribers/donors. If anyone has any quirky or niche Wycombe gear sat gathering dust they’d be happy to donate as prizes, it would be greatly appreciated.
If there’s enough interest, we could add an optional entry fee and cash prize. But we thought it would be nice if everyone could play, without a financial obligation.
