Gmac released

Wow.

I didn’t think I could have ever held Garath in higher esteem than I already did, but he’s raised the bar even on his way out. Pure class on and off the pitch.

Great work from Matt too. A special video. I hope those who really need to listen to the message do so ASAP.

Wow!
What a beautiful interview, GMac and only Matt Cecil could have done that interview/farewell.
Timely reminder from Matt C and GMac why we fell in love with the club.
Remember GMac’s words about culture and how lucky we are to have Jack Grimmer (fabulous chap and captain)

GMac if you read this:
Dr Alimontado’s I killed the barber from the album Best Dressed Chicken in Town.

Just watched the interview.

GMac, I’ll drive you to Gillingham myself.

Go there and help Gaz, Dobbo and Vokes get them up. You absolutely deserve to be among them. I’m sure they will adore working with you again and give you the respect and love you deserve in your final seasons in football.

Thanks for everything.

That interview cements you as a Wycombe Legend in my book although you were already!

Class act, excellent player but who is going to take their top off after each game now….

We seem to be recruiting academy coaching roles left, right and centre externally. I bet the greatest asset to our academy we could have had was sitting right under our noses. What a role model, inspiration and leader GMac would have been to our next generation of talent.

I know they wanted to continue playing but did we really try hard enough to keep two of the potentially most talented coaches we could have wished for in Voksey and GMac under our roof?

Good luck GMac. I can’t wait to see you tearing it up at Adams Park next season for the Gills in League One (or Two)

Vokesy was up for it by all accounts. Until he appeared on the released list.

Rice doesn’t want to keep any players that are popular with the fans.

It’s certainly starting to seem as though no players from the previous regime are wanted

I’d offer but not sure even Mrs Drughoover wants to see that these days.

I didn’t know the story about GMac and the terminally ill fan. Fantastic human and great interview.

One of the great players to watch from the Ainsworth era. Seemingly loved wherever he’s been, which has to mean something. All hail Gmac.

We’re so lucky to have Cecil still at the club, it will be a desperately sad day when he decides to take his talents elsewhere.

I believe that I predicted GMac’s move yesterday and am looking forward to getting my payout tomorrow!
