Should be in charge. Go well.
What a fabulous player he has been for us.
We knew this was coming but absolutely gutted. Another part of the heart and soul of the club gone.
Gutting too that his time at Wycombe ended with that Charlton miss.
Utterly depressing.
Good luck Gmac, one of my favourite players of recent times.
Another bit of character lost.
That is absolutely gutting. Not even a proper goodbye ![]()
Only positive of Gmac leaving (and taff for that matter), is if it’s to make way for players to come into the squad by the close of the window.
Go well Gmac. What a servant for the club.
I thought he’d already gone, which shows how much attention I paid over the summer. Inevitable though. Top player, scored some absolute crackers.
All the best Gmac, another one of the old regime gone.
Enjoyed watching you and you always had a smile on your face and time for the fans in the family stand. Exactly what you want from your senior pro.
Reading or Gillingham?
Seems like this was about to happen for a while, played a lot last year so qualified for another year, not wanted despite having all that experience and knowledge of the cutting edge we so sorely lacking. No doubt will be talking to Phil and Co soon and helping progress youngsters at Reading.
Nobody could have predicted he’d still be here when he signed for us having been passed up by many others. Brilliant guy and great player. Wish him all the best.
A modern legend for sure. Can anyone remind me of the game where he was put through and smashed it into the top corner in front of the away end at AP? I want to re-watch that goal.
I think I once saw GMac whip a ball down the line past an opposition player and run round the back of the Lino to get back on the ball.
Top player top man.
This one hurts
Was v Plymouth I think
Good luck GMac! Thanks for the memories.
My favourite Wycombe player since Covid times. Loved watching him play and possibly the highest quality player I’ve seen play for us.
Love him to pieces and very sorry to see him go. Disappointed we couldn’t find a place for both him and Sam Vokes in the ‘new world’ as think they have plenty to offer still.
GMac gone and Dodds remains. Tells you everything you need to know.
He wasn’t quite put through as I remember, but this this is the one I was thinking of, thank you. Great goal. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GkPbKbto2Ao
I would rather have GMac than so many of the new recruits. Further disappointment.
Makes you wonder if Scowen wasn’t injured would he still be here. I can’t see him fitting in with the new style despite being a) exactly what we need right now and b) the best midfielder in League One
