Jack Grimmer Podcast

Hi all, my name is Kris Lynch, Founder of Golf Yourself Healthy (www.golfyourselfhealthy.com)

I founded GYH in 2023, following the passing of my son, Innes. I have found Golf to be a great healer and helped me during my grief. One of the main things I do with GYH is host a podcast in which I invite guests to talk about their love of Golf and how they find it to be a healthy. Today, I released an episode with your team captain, Jack Grimmer.

The link to watch and listen on YouTube is as follows: https://youtu.be/qtJOhj7080o?si=P_mOTUirLw82cooZ

Jack and I recently met on a flight from London to Aberdeen. As a football nut and as a huge fan of my hometown team, Aberdeen FC, I always recognise a former player when I see one. So when Jack and I, by chance, were sat next to each other on the flight, not only did I recognise him for his footballing reasons, but I also, noticed how he was a golf fan given he was wearing a golf hat. We got into conversation about football, about golf, and I asked him to be a guest on the podcast.

I hope you will find it to be an authentic, engaging, and inspiring conversation with Jack. I found him to be extremely humble, modest, and it was really interesting listening to not only what golf means to him as a means of decompressing outside of football, but also getting him to talk about what playing for Wycombe and being team captain means to him.

Thanks in advance for watching and thanks for your support. I’ve been closely following the Chair Boys ever since I knew that Jack would be on the podcast. I realise as much as he does that the start to your season has not been the one that the fans have wanted. However, hopefully the only way is up for you. Spare a thought for us at Aberdeen. We’ve taken one point from four league games this season and haven’t even scored a goal in the league yet!

All the best folks,

Kris

Enjoyed that Kris, thanks. Enlightening chat about the process. I hope Jacks’ confidence in “the process” isn’t misplaced.
