Really sorry to hear this. Such a memorable figure from the time I started supporting the club.
Always thought he was an extremely good groundman too - the Adams park pitch was one of the best I remember seeing compared do our contemporaries in early league days.
Jim won several Groundsman of the Year Awards, a master of the craft. and also had to fit in kit duties and Adams Park maintenance as well. He always had time for a chat, had a great sense of humour and was a true gent. RIP Jim, we will miss you.
