To be fair the same was said of Japan back in the 80/90s and the plan they put in place has made them a force to be reckoned with. Kazakhstan have plenty of Lommy money to do the same. :grin:

I’m old enough to remember Turkey being regular whipping boys as well. They got better too.

Turkey and Japan have improved greatly, aided by funding and large populations.

Kazakhstan though a huge country has a small population of 20 million

We only got a draw via a last minute penalty. We only won 1-0 in the reverse fixture as well.
