Kits at Away Matches

Once again we are not playing in our normal kit of light and dark blue quarters at Plymouth despite there again being no clash. I believe this is the fourth away game running we have switched in contravention of our club policies. Any Trust lurkers, can I ask if the Trust have raised this?

I’m not with the trust nor have any ITK knowledge but I always thought that the away kit selections were written into the kit suppliers agreements (ie, for X games Yellow shirts worn, for X games Green & White worn). This would help the club & kit supplier to sell shirts if they are used within the season.

Does that make sense?

Plymouth wore their change kit when they came to AP a few weeks ago,

I think with dark green vs dark blue, that may cause issues for some spectators, so it does make sense for us to play in yellow this time. But we shouldn’t have done so for the Luton game.

This is what the Club Charter says - see section 5
Club Charter
Green and blue likely to be seen as a “colourblind clash”

Whilst we’re on the subject with kits, I would like to know which overpaid idiot thought it was a good idea to have no plain back to the green and white kit This of course makes discerning the names and numbers on the back of that kit almost impossible. Stuff of Sunday morning pub team.

Possibly. But blue and orange, blue and yellow and blue and white?

Agreed. What sort of brain-dead fly-by-night would design a kit and not road-test it? Without doubt our worst ever kit.

I think our home kit would have been a better contrast against Lutons orange… where we wore ….yellow… and our keeper wore….. eluminous yellow (sorry “lime")

Fucking ridiculous

According to the data mined in the kit related spreadsheet we’re crap away from home. Who should I bill for time spent crunching the numbers??
