I heard he just wanted out of Wycombe Wanderers in the end after we got rid of all the people who’d mentored him and helped him get his work permit.

It was annoying how the saga crept into the start of the season, but you can’t blame him on his decision making so far.
Happy to stay when we looked a really attacking fun team, one ready to storm to promotion.
But equally pleased to take the step up having endured half a season of a new style, raft of new players, under a manager he’s not succeeded with.
Probably life changing step up in wages and a long security net too.

It’ll be good financially for him as well of course, but QPR are such a basket case club you hope it works out on the pitch too.
At least he’s had the experience of the second half of last season to help him deal with any down spells.
