The aim for this thread has been fulfilled and the topic has ended
From a few comments yesterday, this has just been brought back to the Rice, Bloomfield, who did what debate which has nothing to do with Kone’s move.
We’ve even brought up Phil departure on this thread, how is that relevant….?
We have a good threads of “Rice Out” or “Ex-WWFC Players” where things can be discussed freely. We prob have too many threads open where we can easily lose track of topics.
The Bloomfield/Rice debate killed Gasroom 2 together with revised operating laws etc.
Many of us took a break from the Gasroom as a result of that nasty debate and a number have not returned. Since my return I have found the Gasroom to be a better platform with less bullying and not so much of a closed shop as it used to be.
However, the need for some people to continually bring up the Bloomfield/Rice debate is once again killing interest and will once again result in many people leaving if not stopped now.
We are very lucky to have this wonderful forum, arguably the best fans forum in the whole of the football world.
We are also very fortunate that Rob found Mr Lomtadze, who was happy to take over ownership of our great club and invest serious funds in order to make our club stronger than ever before.
Good luck to Matt Bloomfield but he is gone and the people we have within our club are working very hard to make it as good as it possibly can be. Enjoy what we have as we are very lucky indeed and please stop this Bloomfield/Rice rubbish as it is tearing this forum apart.
Kone’s been gone 2 days, hasn’t even played for QPR yet, how well he does is of interest. Lots of whining about unrelated things but that’s nothing new.
They had PSR issues. That’s why he wasn’t hugely backed. However Cifuentes came in with them adrift at the bottom with only a couple of freebies in January and comfortably kept them up playing great football.
I work with plenty of QPR fans. All love Ainsworth, but his small fish in a big pond act went down really badly. It’s hard when you’re saying QPR are lucky to even be on the same pitch as clubs like WBA.
I never felt he’d be a success at a bigger club because he relies on camaraderie built up by being the underdog. Or at least he did. Perhaps that has changed now he’s got one of league two’s biggest budgets.
