Kone's Next Destination

Richard Kone owes us nothing.

And you can see why he wants to get out of here to play for a manager that can utilise his natural ability.

It’s the agents that are running football , you could argue that another season in league 1 would make him a better player and potentially a far better side coming in . Does he owe us anything , you can argue that either way but signing for another season wouldn’t stop bids coming in especially if you put something in the contract .

Players have short careers and like playing for bigger clubs at a higher level for more money. I can’t believe this is still not widely accepted.

The longer he plays under Mike Dodds the less he’ll be worth. He knows that.

Nnsense

BBC are reporting Kone is “unlikely” to be joining Swansea. No idea whether this is because he is “likely” to be joining someone else…or that he is going to stay with us

Some statement if he decides to stay.

The former I would have thought .

If he’s got ambition, he’ll stay at the might Wycombe Wanderers.

off to Leicester no doubt

Leicester can probably offer most for him. It would be interesting to learn who the foreign bid was from.

Toulouse was mentioned by some

He would have everything Toulouse going there.

Sorry, I tried really hard to resist posting that.

Only if he signs a new contract.

He’d be a silly sausage to go there

ummmmmm……

‘As things stand, there is no live offer on the table from anyone at this stage, with Wycombe playing hardball over their price tag of the 22-year-old, which is believed to stand at around £5m.’

Another article suggesting Swansea more unlikely now. Wonder how long it will take for someone to meet our asking price, or if there will be another twist.
