Luton spares?

Completely missed it’s an all ticket game and tickets have gone off sale. If anyone has any spares please reply as I will take it off your hands. Thanks in advance

Really most peculiar games at this level are all ticket and can’t be bought on the gate. Seems to be happening far more regularly and it isn’t right.

Who decides if a game is going to be all ticket out of interest

It must be the risk of trouble between fans. This is prob graded quite high on the risk scale because it’s a “local” game. There might also be a risk of some of our fans sneaking into the home areas which could then cause trouble.

We could, I suppose have done that, living as we do in Bedfordshire. My children were born in Luton hospital and Her Indoors teaches in Dunstable.

I’d rather shove ferrets up my jacksie than sit amongst the great unwashed. Several of my friends and neighbours will be dragging their knuckles to the home stands. I can only hope that I can treat them to my best shit-eating grin in the years to come as I remind them of the Boxing Day massacre they endured on their journey back to the National League.

The mad thing being, making it all ticket only increases the likelihood of away fans in home areas.

One thing a football regulator needs to look at is police stupidity in the way they “control” games. Merry Christmas everyone by the way.

Unfortunately I suspect that would be outside the regulator’s remit

For those of us far away (potentially abroad) is the Luton game on WWTV, or is this yet another game stolen by Sky (which I don’t have).

“potentially abroad” is important here, but yes it’s on WWTV per the official site

I’m also looking for a spare ticket - senior would suffice - having lost mine while moving house on Monday (it’s a long story, but I wouldn’t recommend completing on a house sale at short notice 3 days before Christmas).

Although I’ve emailed the club it would be astonishing if they are able to assist at such short notice.

You’ve done a lot for the club over many decades and I would hope the spirit of goodwill to all men (and women of course) will prevail. You must have had an extremely stressful few days.

Prepare to be astonished.

If you have x message these guys

Cheers @micra I wouldn’t recommend trying to push through a house sale with exchange & completion only 2 days apart, especially 3 days before Christmas.

For a number of reasons beyond our control that’s what happened. TBH if this ticket is the only thing that gets lost it’s not the worst thing. I nearly lost my mind at one point,.

@Twizz you’ve probably already thought of this, but don’t forget to arrange mail redirection, and update both your car registration, and your driving licence, with the DVLA (two separate notifications).

I’ve seen too many instances of people forgetting to do this, and then getting a CCJ against them for some private parking ticket, which they knew nothing about.

They are both on the “rather longer than I’d expect” list of things to do - today it’s football!

The club (thx Ryan) have emailed back to say duplicates will be available for me to collect at Luton, and also Luton ticket office independently confirmed over the phone that they could sort it at the ticket office when I arrive. Game on.
