Went for Fred for his hard work, tirelessly putting crosses into the box where there were no strikers. I thought Taylor actually looked like a good defender today though, he was a very close second.
Dreadful game though - zero fight or spirit in this squad.
Fink should should have been on here but Duff the bully made sure he was not
Went for Skura, though he stepped up when asked & hardly put a foot wrong, Taylor & Fred were close seconds & decent late effort from Henderson.
Whinger of the day goes to Chairboys80
Doesn’t he get that award every day?
Junior was outstanding 1st half, not quite so good 2nd half. Went for Morley who I thought was running the show 2nd half until he was strangely subbed.
Skura for me…just because a month or two ago the thought of Skura and Taylor would have given many the vapours and I think both did very well today. Morley was good though.
Consistency is key.
Went for Leahy, crisp header for the winner.
I’m mostly not a big fan of Junior but he was very good today.
I thought it showed again today that we’re just a bog standard League One team comprised of bog standard League One players. Voted Vidigal for MOTM as the one who looked like he may have the ability to play at a higher level.
Declan Skura stepped up to the plate very well. He’s a classy defender who reads the game well and always looks calm and confident on the ball.
He and Taylor were clearly on the same page when he did a Norris on him. The improvement in Taylor’s performances over the last couple of months (in both boxes) has been one of the few positives during what has been a disappointing run-in to the season, exacerbated by an unusually high number of injuries to important players.
I’ve never really understood why he is rated so lowly by both Dodds and Duff. Whilst he is probably not an automatic starter, in my view he is a solid back up option. It’s a shame he won’t be here next season.
Only saw last half hour but went for Scowen. He’s starting to look like his old self again.
Agreed on Josh. We definitely didn’t lose anything with him coming on, especially despite him appearing to be covering left back half the time. It bodes well for him being back to his best capabilities for next season.
Reading all these comments about suggested Mom (which I agree with) I am struggling to work out how we managed to lose to a bang average Blackpool team yesterday. Both centre backs looked really solid, Junior and Andre offered a threat out wide and Morley looked good in the middle. I guess the answer is obvious - no one to put the ball in the net?
Sadly the best player on the pitch was the Blackpool keeper. All the stats places put him comfortably ahead of all the other players and it showed.
