With only the Fotmob stats to guide me I’ve chosen their PotM, Jack Grimmer.
I went with Junior, even though picking a MOTM who went off after an hour is a bit odd. But that was the best he’s played for us by a mile. Jack very good also.

I picked Ewan Henderson. Coming back from injury to look like he was never injured. Junior getting his goal and looking great. Ewan Henderson has been the key to our playstyle. Grimmer my other MOTM

Grimmer 100% great captains performance , junior had good game as well . Magnus was great when he came on as well .

Grimmer for the desire. Henderson because he finds space sooooo easily. Superb players. I remember a lot on here saying they’d drop Captain Jack. lol

Not only did Captain Jack score a cracking goal (again, it’s becoming a habit!) he was outstanding in defence against sustained pressure from Bolton for most of the second half. Best Christmas present so far.

I went for Junior. Not everything he tried came off, but he worked so hard today and made some vital tackles and interceptions in defence. The criticism of him is often that there’s not enough end product, but he’s produced a moment of real quality at a crucial time today.
Grimmer and Hendo also in the reckoning. Henderson gives us so much more control in the middle, along with some bite. A few loose passes and looked a little rusty which is understandable, but we’re a much better team when he plays.

I really found that the toughest choice of (I think) all the games I’ve seen this season.
I actually (uniquely it seems) went with Casey as I think we won that game due to our ability in restricting Bolton to that may clear chances.
I can’t remember Bolton having many and I can’t remember Casey having to do anything much all game so I added 2+2 and credited him for that fact

Went with Junior but could have gone with either Grimmer or Henderson. A shout-out for Norris who is quick off his line to snuff out danger.
Quitirna did some proper defending first half to support Grimmer. Unlike him. That’s the stuff that Duff appreciates and might have earned him a second bite at the cherry next week. Great effort by him.

I went with Henderson. He didn’t set the world alight. Nobody did. However, I have to credit Norris. In a game like that, game management and experience is what wins you games. His shithousery was just what we have been missing - and something I am not sure van Sas would have done.
I don’t like to watch football like that, but it is up to the ref to “nip it in the bud” early on. He didn’t book Norris until the last goal kick!

Due to yet another powercut where I live (3rd in 2 months) I had to listen to the radio commentary on my phone, certainly from what Sam Avery was telling me Jack Grimmer was the man (again).
I gave it to Captain Jack, best goal return in a season when he has taken a lot of flak.
Henderson was good though and calling for the ball constantly, Junior did some quality defensive work as well as attacking.
Great defensive performance in the second half and we still could have had a couple more goals.

Went with Junior. Defended his flank superbly, very often to be seen behind Jack Grimmer then seconds later raiding at the other end. His best performance by a street. Well done young man.
Whilst they obviously had their moments, I think Jack and Junior were too culpable for the Bolton goal. Henderson for me. Showed us what we’d been missing.
