Connor Taylor was magnificent tonight. Really pleased for him

Went for Taylor just because… but Norris was also good tonight.

Taylor for me. I never thought I’d ever give him motm in the Dodds days. He was imperious tonight. My second choice would have been Boyd munce or Fred.

Shout out too for the super subs. Vidigal, superbly taken goal, and Woodrow… . Well… . Say what you want about him but he keeps on scoring for us. I’d sign him up

Taylor.

Actually, I’m not a big Norris fan, but he couldn’t be faulted tonight. Good game for him. His distribution and accuracy was probably up there with the best I’ve seen from him

So pleased to give the vote to Taylor. He had by far the most touches, CBM was next with 53.

Apart from that moment about five minutes in when he rolled it out straight to a Cardiff player, which in turn led to that moment when one of their players missed an open goal from 5 feet out.

Really glad Taylor finally managed to play well, Vidigal made an enormous difference when he came on, but I gave it to Fred who never stopped. Looked like Duff saw that too at the end when he grabbed Fred and made him go back to receive more cheers from the fans.

10 goals now for Cauley Woodrow yet he still has his critics.

Connor Taylor had to be man of the match. Graciously acknowledged by @Chairboys80 .

The game was won on the defence. And Taylor, while still not entirely confident on the ball. Played well, he even pinged a couple of diagonal.

I normally default to big Dan, but Taylor played like him today.

Fair play Taylor… immense tonight

Ah… . Yes, I forgot about that

Yep - that one to Harvie JUST too many legs. Was a good effort.

I think it’s critic singular on here, isn’t it? Virtually everyone else recognises his obvious talents and importance to the team.

Taylor and Allen showed they are worthy competition for Anders and Casey

True. But I don’t think any of our players covered themselves in glory that first 15 or so mins. Morley, Henderson and Norris included, all made a bad error that could have gone against us. And yet, they all ended up being outstanding.

But you’re absolutely right about Fred. Ran himself into the ground again. I hope a big contract is coming his way shortly.

Also, really chuffed for Connor - would be easy to let a lack of confidence take over but tonight he proved so many of us wrong.

Am I in vogue being a Conor Taylor fan today? He didn’t let me down today.

Also, chef kiss pass by Azza for the Vidigal goal.

Taylor only just edges MOTM from Caolan though. Another awesome performance.

Taylor showed us all tonight why he was signed and came with high plaudits. I think his confidence was knocked massively stuck in a team playing Dodds ball which worked for no one. He looked so confident and assured tonight. I’m so happy for him.

He has over 100 league games. Hes obviously got a bit about him.

I still not sure if he fits in with the playing style and does look a bit spooked when pressed, but tonight he stood up.
