Between Henderson and Fred for me.
Yeah thankfully Fred’s approaching 30 and has tried a few stints away from Wycombe unsuccessfully or we’d have been without him in 2026. He’s been fantastic recently. Fred or bust really.
Henderson for his 45 minutes we struggle without him hope he’s not injured and was just knackered.
Casey was everywhere while we were under sustained pressure
Henderson. Created the goal, and is our best creative player.
I went Casey for reasons already stated elsewhere, but Hendo and Fred also did very well.
I went for Harris. Did a lot of good work breaking up play higher up the pitch. It was really noticeable that we lost the benefit of that when the extra defender was brought on and he was moved deeper.
Ethan Brierley. A class act.
Apparently he is being gently eased back as a precaution following the two injuries (a dislocated toe and a hamstring tear respectively) which in both cases kept him out for a few weeks. The original plan, it seems, was to give him 60 minutes but the coaching staff evidently decided at half time that the combative nature of the contest was more suited to Luke Leahy’s approach and the change was made at the start of the second half. Maybe the yellow card was also taken into consideration.
Exactly what Duff said in the post match interviews.
