My best memory of today will be Stones being unable to stop himself breaking into a big grin several times as he walked off past the away end to loud applause.

Westergaard MOTM? Must have been watching a different game! Another very frustrating performance from him, another open goal, another game where he was not on the pace of it for large periods. On the plus side he did though improve later in the game when he played in a more withdrawn role and helped to start a couple of attacks. But he really does lack a tackle.

There were several more suitable candidates. Stones was truly wonderful on debut and Boyd-Munce showed he is a far better option to Leahy as a no 6.

Yep you were watching a different game. So many interceptions, looked very comfortable on the ball and guessing you were in the ground and could not see the angle he had for his chance - certainly not a sitter

Personally thought we was very good. Powerful runner. Strong on the ball. Covers the space well.

I only watched the second half so possibly a bit unfair but I went with Lowry as he was the one player who looked capable of doing something different after he came on

The main thing to come out of that game was strength in depth, went for Magnus but very equal to Boyce - Munce, Back was good too.

Did anyone see that little inter-play between Back and Quitirna? It was majestic!

Delighted that you’re back doing MOTM @Atomic .

I was uncharacteristically unselfish yesterday evening in deference to mrs micra’s limited enthusiasm for football on tv during prime viewing time so I (we!) only watched 20 minutes of the first half and the last 20 minutes of the second. I will either not vote or go with the flow, hoping that is with the midfielder quite a few of us see as the potential pivot. In the middle of our team.

My original intention was to record the match and watch it on my own at midnight oil burning time. But it seems that matches under the red button cannot be recorded.

No problem. Aiming to get to my first match next week vs Exeter. I’m hoping the first choice team will have been decided and gelling by then.

I wouldn’t worry about watching back the whole match from last night. :grin:

When I get an opportunity I’ll breakout the Excel spreadsheet again and start plotting the league form, which fortunately for Dodds matches last season so far.
