At half time I was looking at Taylor, by the end it’s Wareham for me. Did everything he possibly could.

At half time I was hoping we could vote 100% for Jayden Wareham. The odd thing is that, across the match as a whole, I thought Casey and Taylor were magnificent but then you wonder how culpable they were for conceding three goals in 8 (?) minutes.

Same. I didn’t have time to reflect on any of them before I was so annoyed that I didn’t care. I shall frustratingly watch the highlights later and try and work it out.

Wareham. Fights for everything.

Wareham, debut goal that should have been the winner or the sealer… Fought hard and I think when we stop leaking fucking goals his benefits will become more obvious

I was. He was outstanding. A real eye-opener. Even did his share of defending. As he has said himself, he has the strength and aggression of much bigger players. A fox in the box as well.

He was exactly what we’ve been missing. All that scintillating play in defence and midfield means nothing if we can’t make anything stick in the final third.

He reminded me a lot of prime Scott McGleish.

I said the exact same on Saturday. Same chase-everything approach and a proper nuisance for defenders.

Dodds would have ruined him in about 2 weeks!
