CBM. Think he was our best player, but i cannot criticise anyone really.

Fred probably clinched it with his goal but, for overall excellence, being denied his second goal of the season by a brilliant save from the County ‘keeper and a couple of crucial tackles to prevent County from equalising, I’m delighted that Connor Taylor continues to confound his critics. Not that very many remain.
Anders Hagelskjaer also had a very good game. He brings so much more to his game than just the defensive duties but, interestingly, despite our overall dominance, I don’t recall seeing him taking one of those thirty yard throw-ins.

Fred for me. Worked very hard. Deserved goal.
Wareham was superb with the limited play he had.

Can’t help thinking that Wareham will be playing in the Championship next season. What a star.

Went with Josh as seemed much more of the Jack Russell of old today.

Shhhh, nothing to see here.
I’ll keep it under my hat. Too soon - I sincerely hope - to start bigging up (ugh) the price tag.

Anders for me because he steadied the defence and is so good at pin point passes, often across the pitch and changing the focus of attack.

For me, that’s another hugely frustrating aspect of the current situation. I genuinely think we will only have Wareham this season. He’ll get 15-20 goals and be poached by a Championship side in the summer, so we will have wasted our time this season while having such a quality striker. He is a Championship player and I would be very surprised if he isn’t picked up next Summer.
