Whilst I believe that Casey was at fault for one of the goals (I think?) he was generally imperious at the back, and obviously got a vital morale-boosting goal.

Even showed more skill than I thought he had (not meant in a derogatory way, just that I don’t expect such moves from a 3rd tier CB) with that dink over the Reading winger’s head to keep possession.

For what it’s worth FotMob rated Anders and Casey as our best players (though I only looked once I’d already made my pick), with Woodrow and Junior the next highest.

I’m sure I’d have been singing a different tune had that shot that whistled inches wide actually gone in, but I found Junior largely frustrating today, a lot of cases where he just ran into trouble, or the final deliveries just weren’t quite good enough.

Junior is very frustrating at times seems to make the wrong decision on most occasions , have given it to anders mainly for the superb finish.

Difficult to call today. Nobody really deserved it - there were lots of 7/10 performances but no one could step up further. Henderson for me though as I thought he really improved the midfield in second half.

Was it not Morley for the 2nd goal?

I mean, I might be losing my mind, but it was Jack Marriott, wasn’t it?

It was, it seems.

I think Casey may have pushed out for the 3rd goal and it deflected back into the space

No stand outside for MOM. Junior looked the most threatening, but his end product not consistent. Hugging played well.

Having a striker seems like a tactical masterclass. I reckon all the teams will be doing it soon.

Dodds didn’t rate them!

Glad you reminded me about that clever dink over the winger’s head and I’d also actually forgotten that Dan Casey scored our first goal. I’ve found it surprisingly difficult to single anyone out today but you’ve made it a lot easier. No prizes for guessing therefore.

Gone for Anders. That first half pass from his own half and the quality of his finish.

Went for Huggins. Thought he was great today and didn’t stop running.

Honourable mentions to our two great CB’s, who also came up with a goal apiece.

I thought the centre backs both had a good game, but can’t quite bring myself to vote for a defender when we’ve shipped 3 incredibly sloppy goals.
