Travelling over 5 hours for this dross….had enough with paying my hard earned money to watch laborious boring football , Manager offers nothing apart from shouting ‘get up” ..so uninspiring ….Dodds football was more erratic but so much more enjoyable to watch…we look like thr 1980s wimbledon
Mcneilly is probably an impact sub, he isnt going to hold it up. To be fair, we’ve had Henderson, Bell and Fred buzzing forward but he cant get into it aswell
He should have scored though
Casey? Are you sure?!
looked ok to me , to be honest I am just clutching…so pissed off with that half of football
You have a very short memory, lad.
Give it a rest for f… sake. You are so tedious.
we look like thr 80’s wycombe
ger rid of Duff and get blooms back…Duff ball is shit
How Evans did not get a straight red and then should have had a second yellow for the stamp on Fred.
Been a couple of other bad fouls too.
Losing in the first half again and we are weak in front of goal. Squad is so weak you do worry about relegation come May.
Just for info. I have finally cracked and for the first time in any of the Gasroom iterations finally used the ‘ignore’ feature.
I think he’s a few slices short of a full loaf tbf
I know you’re not on here that much, but know your posters!
How good would it be to still have Bradley, Low and Taylor to choose from at centre half. Such a down-grade this season.
2 fairly poor teams, could easily be us leading, but unfortunately a real howler from Casey let their man in.
Maybe having a more mobile covering midfielder could have made the gap up though? But maybe not.
Did enjoy Leahy’s body of work there though, couldn’t make up the gap so seemed to SCREAM at their man to try and put him off, then did some great ranting after the event.
“Leadership”
Maybe other players could do some ranting at him when he missed that really good chance? Maybe not, as it doesn’t really help.
Casey knew what he’d done, probably won’t happen again. Mistakes happen.
Not sure if it’s our current position of being better than under Doddsy but still a fairly poor work in progress watch shaping my mentality, but feels like the commentary team are sharing the malaise.
Main guy not thinking a couple of clear elbows are much concern and Toby (is it) not having much of an inspired day, when he’s normally decent.
We get a new manager. I expect changes. It’s been the same though. The results he’s had have completely glossed over the crap we’ve been playing and the crap out of form players he constantly picks.
We are in a relegation battle because this manager doesn’t know who the best players are in the squad. And they certainly aren’t the ones out on the pitch right now.
His mantra has been that players have to step up and show fight and commitment. The problem is that players can show that and still play crap. And then he changes MVS for hoofballer Norris. Whilst dropping our best defender who gets to play in mickey mouse cups on Tuesday nights.
I despair.
definitely need someone up front to hold it up, and I guess Woodrow is the only option we’ve got in that respect.
How were we ever having them this season?
Low wanted out, Taylor wasnt ours and cost £3m to Millwall anyway. Sonny seemingly didnt want to relocate, and is likely at the end of his career anyway.
Woodrow should probably start with Mcneilky as an impact.
Bell has been far too easy to knock off the ball today.
He’s been disappointing in this respect, I expected more from him.
