Decided to mix things up with the image backdrop for the new season no doubt I’ll be back to the trusty old checkerboard once this one starts winding me up in a few weeks! Bit early for a ‘match day’ thread, I know, but with everyone eagerly waiting for that first kick, thought I’d get it up tonight.

I think so, but I haven’t checked. I believe it’s also available via the Sky Sports+ button, and if their deal’s still in place, I’d guess it’s on NOW as well.

Welcome back to that weird feeling of cautious optimism coupled with knawing doubt.
So many unknowns about the season.
I do however feel very similar to how I remember feeling two first game of the seasons ago, which doesn’t bode well (for today anyway)

Looking back at the 5s and 6s since my birth:
1985/86 - Relegation
1995/96 - Middling mid-table
2005/2006 - Play-off heartbreak
2015/16 - Middling mid-table
2025/26 - ???
No idea what to expect today or throughout the season but it feels like it’s going to be an interesting and possibly bumpy ride. COYB!
