Match Day Thread : Bradford

And Harvie

Was he ostracised? Didn’t we try and change formation for him with 2 other good centre backs.

He probably wasn’t as good as Sonny or Caleb though.

I’ve only just realised Leahy is playing. We don’t have no attacking threat whatsoever. Where’s the gut busting runs to get into the box. Surely Dodds has to change things.

Assuming that the 7 people liked this post were agreeing with the first line, rather than the 2nd = wrong player!

Westy would love to be anywhere near the ball to make the wrong decision!

Hahaha! This is laughably bad. It’s so unserious. As if Charlie Brooker wrote a dark football comedy.

At least all the apologists for this incompetent regime will have nowhere to hide now.

1sr half assessment

Sas - so poor with his positioning

Grimmer - should be nowhere near the starting line up, he has been dire and embarrassing

CBs- fine

Mullins - very good

Allen - RM has him on toast

Leahy - no comment

Lowry - lovely touches but end product so poor

Westergaard- has he been playing

Fred - to easy to read , so many attributes which he does not use

Udod - awful and simply NOT a striker

we have looked with ball until final 3rd , then cluelsss

The good news: We look like a Premier League side.

The bad news: It’s Southampton from last season, and we’re playing PSG.

Grimmer, Hagelskaer, Van Sas and Lowry (for that shocking decision not to play in Fred) need to be pulled at half time.

Go on Dodds, show some fucking bollocks son.

What an absolute shower of shit we have assembled here.

And Fred should back himself, his experience and his Wycombe heart and fucking lay into Lowry in changing room for that poor decision he made. I want Lowry to succeed like we all do, but THAT is the reason he is league 1 and not Glasgow Rangers.

Strange game - some typically overly critical comments on here. Some nice approach play. Mullins looks good, Lowry is a box of tricks. The 2 Danes have been involved and showed some good touches. Somehow we are 2 down - keepers error and a pin point shot through bodies. Get a goal and I think we can get something out of this

Except we’re not playing PSG

the only positive so far has been the large turnout on this thread. gasroom3 is starting to look the real deal in a way that the actual football team isn’t.

No he will need time for the new team to settle.

Having ruined and dismantled a perfectly good team.

Quite a worrying first half bearing in mind that unlike the first 2 games last season - we’re not facing a team who will very obviously be top 2.

Looking at last year’s back 2, Harvie and the mid 3, the quality dip looks very upsetting.

Then obviously add in Kone down to Udoh, and Lowry to our wide left option and the whole thing looks an absolutely immense drop off.

Let’s get Junior and Fink on asap. Lowry / Westy and Udoh off and give it a go.

Only one game, but unless those missing midfield boys make a huge difference this could be a very difficult season until the board lose patience with Doddsy.

We’ve signed a couple of players since then.

I feel so sorry for those Chairboys and Chairgirls who have made the journey .

A big shoutout to you all :clap::clap:

From the league’s highest scorers to… whatever this is

Defence look like they only met each other 10 minutes before kick off; midfield some nice passing & touches but too little forward movement, attack - do we have one?

I see what Dodds is trying to achieve even from that fairly poor first half.

As for the players Fred seems to be scared to take a player on or go past someone, Grimmers passing has been weak, Leahy’s lack of pace is glaringly obvious, Van Sas really should have done better for both goals but especially the first.

Remember it’s Rice that has systematically dismantled one of the best teams we’ve had. Dodds needs to go but while Rice remains, we’re screwed.
