No threat though. Passing nicely in the middle and defensive third. Although hardly their fault the Kone situation arose. Although why he was prioritised in preseason when he was always likely to leave does seem a stupid choice now.
Pleased for him. How he was treated by Dodds last season was a disgrace.

The new keeper is shit I’m afraid to say. Even when he got ‘injured’ I expect a league 1 keeper to have punched that 2 handed and nailed the striker. Don’t care how good he was with his feet in friendlies.

Reminds me of when City brought in Claudio Bravo. Great with his feet but a total liability other than that and couldn’t handle English football’s physicality at all.

As Dave Carroll said after losing at Bradford years ago but being told that we looked good in parts, “It’s easy to play when your 2 nil down”.
I’ve little faith in a Dodds team getting back into this.

When you see it written down like that you realise the only positolions were not weaker in are where it’s the same plyer.
Albeit those players are playing worse.

Massively backwards
Feels like we’ve started off exactly where we left off last season. We have possession, but don’t have a clue what to do with it. We can barely engineer a shot off target, let alone a goal. And we’re prone to errors and shakiness at the back.
Bradford commentators are complimentary about our ability and comfort on the ball, especially Lowry. But can’t work out what our formation is, or what Anders role is.
Anyone who’s at the game - does our dug out look remotely animated/interested compared to the Bradford bench, or are they slumped in their seats pissing around with iPads like they were at Barnet?
