Fink to come on at 60mins, score a hattrick and go on to power us to a playoff winning season. Dodds to realise in this game that impressive fannying about stats mean nothing unless you win games. He’ll start mixing in a bit of getting the ball forward as quickly as possible, who cares of we lose it. He’ll also buy himself some decent touchline clothes rather than looking like he’s on a stag do to Dubai. The gasroomerati will unite under the banner of the project.

How many recognised first team players will play today? Will Henderson & Westergaard be given more minutes to improve their fitness or will they not be risked? Will Fink be given some match practice? Hopefully Back will play to stake a bigger claim to play in league matches?
Assuming that Bromley’s league cup team will be broadly on a par with Leyton Orient’s, aren’t we likely to field a similar lineup to the one that departed victorious from Brisbane Road, including a 16 year old faux number 9 ?

I’d have Taylor in for Casey, Taylor Allen for Hartridge (if still injured), and Henderson for Fred (although wasn’t he skipper against Orient?)

Extraordinary that having spent so much on players in the summer we’re going into games with Bromley and Stevenage and i have no confidence we’ll get a result in either.

If you are local, the match is being shown in one of the lounges, I think. Even if you’re not local, it’ll still be shown!
I believe food and drink are available and ÂŁ10 secures a seat.

Not sure why this thread isn’t live.
I just want to say we need to look out for Omar Solunmi tonight - a real man mountain at 6’5” and built like a tank. Against Ipswich he was rated in one poll as top player from either side. There was only one Ipswich player in the top six.
Apparently Solunmi is essentially a central defender (imagine Cameron Stones up against him) but has also played up front on occasions.
One other player to look out for is Michael Cheek who, even at 34, is still banging them in.
