Will we see the return of Josh today? If so I hope the entire ground, if able, is on their feet when he comes on.

Can Lowe back up that debut?

I have a healthy dose of positivity. But as ever, as my 100% Villa friend said last night. it’s the hope that kills you.

COYB!

Burton appear to be in good form and with two very good strikers, so not an easy game today. We need to be at it for the whole 90+ mins and hopefully not have a drop off phase as in the Stevenage game etc.

I go with a 2-1 win to the mighty Chairboys.

It’ll be interesting to see who starts up front. Duff likes a lot of our play to go through Woodrow, he scored in his last game, and would feel rightly angry to be dropped. However, the entire stadium fell in love with Lowe last week, and he’s the traditional striker that Duff has wanted to finish chances.

I don’t think there is any choice yet. Duff made very clear in his post-match comments last week that they need to manage Lowe’s return from injury, so Woodrow will surely start and Lowe be given a bit longer from the bench.

Expecting a tough game today, Beesley and Shade were a handful in the reverse fixture and are in good form, plus Bowyer is a decent manager that will have them motivated. Good test for us though and let’s see what we can do.

Expect to see

Norris

Grimmer, Casey, Anders, Harvie

Morley, Henderson, Mullins

Fred, Woodrow, Harris

As shown last week, we have a decent bench now with Lowe, Junior and Vidigal able to come on and have an impact. Leahy, Allen, Boyd Munce and Van Sas to complete the squad.

Don’t expect to see Lowry or Taylor again for us now.

However, they are good squad cover for the inevitable injuries.

Not a lot going on, on the Burton forum. Optimistic but happy to come away with a point seems to be the very limited consensus.

I’m not saying we will start like this, but I can see a scenario of:

             Norris

Grimmer Casey Anders Harvie
Morley Henderson
Junior Woodrow Fred
Lowe

You can make “don’t expect to see” statements. But we are blessed by having a fully fit squad for the first time ever! We could easily pick up 5 injuries in next month and both back in equation.

Possibly Lowe starts and comes off after 60 minutes, after scoring a hatrick of course.

That is what I would do.

No, I wouldn’t be able to do that. Don’t be silly!

Is that an unchanged 11?

No.pressure then. Burton are quite physical.

I suspect much same team starting that were winning 1-0 at HT last week. Lowe on later to harry a tired defence.

Exciting times.

An unchanged 18!

unchanged squad

Has Duff fielded an unchanged side in his time here?
