One thought from last night - so much of our play went through Reach at left back. Was the same at Orient, when Leahy was LB. Obviously neither playing in their “natural” position.
Don’t suppose Dan Harvie is going to be fit for Thursday

Reach has a wonderful left and had a good game there last night I agree
Ok. I was just asking.
Away goals count double was never the best way to explain the rule, but it’s catchier than ‘away goals count plus one in the event of a draw over two legs and maybe even extra time.’
If the tie ends in a draw, the team scoring the most away goals is deemed the winner.
ambiguous - does that include extra time or not?
If the tie ends in a draw (after any extra time period defined in tournament rules), the team scoring the most away goals over the tie shall be deemed the winner.
Anyway all defunct now.
confusing - do you play extra time before you take away goals into consideration or not?
No
Using a recent example of away Goals.
Tottenham beating Man City and Ajax on away goals, they both went 90 minutes in the 2nd leg
That really is shocking. I think we had 7,500 10 years ago Vs Plymouth.
If memory serves that game was midweek, in League 2 and we had zero budget for marketing.
It’s poor but probably expected given recent performances. Floating fans probably didn’t fancy it at the prices.
The boys put in an absolute shift last night and deserve a big following Thursday, hopefully last night has changed a few peoples minds and we get 2k + there.
Oh, please. What happened to the truce?
“What truce?” is not a valid response!
Family stand in particular sparcely populated - school tomorrow at GCSE, A level and SATS time. Big difference too between feel of a first leg game and a second leg when tie result will be known.
Also play off Semi’s can feel a bit weird especially when form leading up has been poor. If not there and win, doesn’t really matter as will have final to look forward to, if not there and lose didnt really want to see that anyway…
Three season tickets in my house but both son’s had GCSE/A Level exams on Monday morning. The original Saturday kick off would not have been a problem. Blame SKY tv.
The Plymouth play offs (both legs) were very special. We had nearly been relegated the year before and were really fighting against the odds, last minute (112th) etc. We also hadn’t been to Wembley since the O’Neill days.
Difficult to fault people who couldn’t make it yesterday or didn’t feel as engaged, it’s also all made very expensive and inconvenient as those who got to the bus garage after the game to find it shut noted.
Who knows, maybe some moaners stayed at home too as the atmosphere was brilliant.
There can only be one first time. Sorry, the comment - seen nearly 24 hours after it was posted - discombobulated my feeble mind.
I thought Simons did well but would like to see him swapped with Humphries. I’ve not seen enough from Simons to make me think he could unlock a defence or smash one in the top corner, which Humphries has shown he can do plenty of times. It just feels like him being deeper is a waste of his skillset to me.
I’ve been a regular game-goer all season and don’t live in Wycombe. Yet, with an early start this morning, and a late-ish KO, I had to watch it on telly.
Sky are key to blame, as has been the case all season, they’ve made it too easy for any one on the fence to watch it at home.
It’s been mentioned already but I genuinely wonder if the players told Dodds to f*ck off with his negativity and 5 at the back and that being listened to was part of the improved performance.
Regardless of how it came about it’s nice to see round pegs in round holes and us playing on the front foot where we could. Not too concerned about the quality of the football. It’s a cup game so do what you need to win. The most important thing is that for the first time in weeks we actually looked like we were trying to win. And I’ll take that any day of the week.
I think the big difference last night was that we matched their aggression and intent, if anything we dominated that area. That has been missing for quite some time.
The home game they completely bullied us all over the park.
Really looking forwards to Thursday now, having initially not really been looking forward to these games.
Amazing what 90 minutes in the right formation can do.
