Match Day Thread : Charlton (Play-offs second leg)

I would imagine that coming into a winning team doing well that has suddenly lost a popular manager, replacing a long serving popular interim management team and knowing you possibly weren’t even first choice…not to mention a large squad you had no part in assembling and a management group expecting promotion (if they did at that point) could possibly be more daunting than pulling a failing team.of misfits out of the mire. It works at Brighton as they have an established style…Bloomfield had only just started to establish one ( which may or may not have been ‘found out’) and possibly a ‘Dodds team’ would not have had any of our players in it.
I’m not saying he did not make a total balls up of it…but we still all want him to succeed.

Its lots of things and that’s why it’s frustrating, If you have all these scenarios : A large squad, people banging on the door for games and needing integrating, people coming back from injury, and also some ageing, tired and out of form players, the need to change things at times, and genuinely chasing points you can use the squad.
