Haven’t been on here much recently, does anyone know what’s up with Berry?
Torn on this one. On the one hand, I am almost baffled by how much a home game where we didn’t score has been celebrated, but on the other hand, we are not really a 5th placed team, but a midtable team who are in 5th because of a prior regime (and Morley). So from that perspective, it was plucky to get a home 0-0, I suppose. But if a scoreless home game is heroic, we will need two levels above heroic to get anything from Charlton away!
But then, this is football, so…
This cuts deep! But I see your point. Agree we’ll need to be levels above anything we’ve seen of late. Or hope Charlton completely freeze.
The good thing is, the gap between us and Charlton is much less than the gap between us and Shrewsbury, so if the Shrews can hold us to 0-0 at home, we can beat Charlton at their gaff!
No idea, but id guess Sadlier gets on the bench ahead of him anyway
I think they should have retired both the number 3 shirt AND the captaincy when JJ retired! ![]()
Wow my head is spinning like the world
It’s starting to get very real now …
Here we go, here we go!!
Come on boys
Fab Rava is on. Only if to measure the extent of Dodds’ tactics in playing to our weaknesses (constant hoofing to a lone Kone and bypassing our skillful players like Cam and Simons, and never using our wings to get to the byline and get those cut backs in that created so many chances in early season).
Let’s play to our strengths today.
COYB.
The drummer is doing a fantastic job, just hope he’s got the stamina to keep it going.
Anyone else not able to get the match via VPN on WWTV?
You need an IP in a country that doesn’t have TV rights. Switzerland or Belgium should work
Wonder if Sky realise there’s another team playing other than Charlton
Thanks - sorted now
Wrexham?
All together now.
Positive start although we need to stop losing the ball in our own half
Charlton press hard, if we try and play it around we will get caught. Thats why they need to be direct or long. Same in first game.
Problem being, our massive lack of pace.
