Match Day Thread: Exeter (A) 17th Feb 2026

Welp you are going to get your wish

////

Harris starting again , there must be a clause on the contract of the loan that he must start, he does not deserve to be in the squad never mind thr 11….dont think I have seen a player so underwhelming and who NEVER impacts the play

Sometimes a league one team will score more goals and win a league one game against another league one side. Saturday was not the end of the World.

Looks like a strong 11 to me

Interesting side. Lovely to see Hendo start. Less lovely to still not see Josh back. That midfield look capable despite the Josh-sized hole. Expecting a good performance here.

Hendo + Morley :heart_eyes:

I don’t mean to be rude, but does your memory only go back one month? I might not have supported Wycombe for as long as other people on this forum (since 2015), but surely someone who’s only been here for less than a month is not as underwhelming or bad in your eyes as some of the players that have played for this club in the last decade?

You are Michael Duff’s rabbit foot, only for a select few games each season :slight_smile:

Shame we don’t do a team selection forecast competition - I might do better than the match score prediction. Those two team changes are exactly what I expected after Saturday.

I’d like to see Vidigal and Fred on opposite wings firing in crosses for Fink (to score a hat-trick) in the second half. We’ll see.

It’s not Harris’s fault we don’t have an accomplished striker - look at the stats against Reading - he has done nothing wrong, give the lad a chance

Feel it’s a little harsh for Huggins to be dropped, but for a bit of defensive strength, understandable

Today’s the day for Fink. I can feel It.

he needs more than 3 minutes each game …massively unfair on the lad especially when Woodrow gets 80plus mins each match with close to no output

Huggins = unlucky

Harris = lucky

But that is strong!

I think Harris complements Morley and Hendo. He is the “legs” and works his nuts off. Allows the others to control and dictate. Also means that Junior and Fred can “cheat” a bit as Harris will cover. I can see the logic.

Arrived in Exeter. Doesn’t appear to have been any rain all day but very slight drizzle now. But I think a bit of rain will help Morley, Harris and Henderson with low shots from distance.

Harris is the runner, he is meant to be run off the forward. Its why a Hendo, Morley, CBM midfield may not fit.

Bit, he needs to link in with the forwards, ive been underwhelmed.

Well, if we lose, we could always break out the old classic TY from AFTV excuse :slight_smile:

That’s not on Harris though, he is making the best of the current situation, he will flourish when others return, but has not done anything wrong to date, a massive talent in the making, take the blinkers off !!
