On Sky sports +
Worth noting for the worldwide crowd, UK clocks went back over the weekend, so this game kicks off an hour later than you were expecting. Hopefully you noticed before I did!
Also on Radio 5 Sports Extra 2 and Talksport 2
Not on WTV even for overseas viewers? I can’t keep up with the rules.
Also, obviously, COME ON WYCOMBE
No idea what sort of team Fulham will put out tonight but hopefully their recent poor form and the big game coming Saturday will convince them to rest a few.
Assuming they rotate the squad I think it should be fairly tight. The big challenge could come in the last 15 mins or so if they bring on players like Iwobi.
Taking my partner’s son to his first ever football match this evening. It’s all a bit surreal to be honest.
Taking my 2 boys tonight as its half term and bedtime isn’t a consideration. Will be my youngest second game and my eldests 3rd. Looking forward to it for that if nothing else… but I hope we can put on a good showing and give us all something to cheer! Looking like its going to be a really decent attendance so the atmosphere should be great under the lights! COYB!!!
Will be using the WW2 Bus again Tonight. There will probably be more people that used it tonight than on Saturday (From Aylesbury to AP)
- Silva confirmed Emile Smith Rowe suffered a minor hamstring injury which is why he was substituted against Newcastle on Saturday.
- Smith Rowe will not be available to play against Wycombe because of the injury, but it is “just a knock”.
- Antonee Robinson, Joachim Andersen, Rodrigo Muniz, Harry Wilson and Samuel Chukwueze are also unavailable for Tuesday’s fourth-round tie.
- Silva confirmed that “some players who started on Saturday will start against Wycombe” and said the “mindset in these cup competitions has changed”. He added that the goal for the FA Cup will be “to be at Wembley”.
- The boss also says that his side need to have the “same enthusiasm” for the League Cup as they have for Premier League matches.
From the BBC website
They are not going to win the league so surely giving your better players a run in the cups is a good idea. Until Wycombe beat you anyways…
I have mixed feelings about this game. Firstly, gutted I can’t make it. But also it just seems to have crept up on us?! I’m sure the crowd and buzz will get amped up closer to kick-off but this has almost gone under the radar despite being a L16 tie. Maybe I’m getting old and like Christmas, I only get truly excited when it’s close to the event.
I hope the crowd and players are full-throated and full of it tonight. It may be misplaced optimism but this looks very winnable.
They are looking at relegation and have two key League games against other relegation clubs in the next week.
Bring on the U21’s
My first time abroad on a match day and I can’t pay and watch Wycombe TV. Crazy!
Unmistakable view from Downley.
Depending on where you are it should be available somewhere if you can find out who the EFL’s broadcast partner in that country is.
Any working links or suggestions would be appreciated.
