As they would be again if he returned and we got the 2023-24 Bloomfield.
Hopefully not in a way that undermines TH please
Where’s the gubbins is big Dan?
Leahy on the bench, no room for Thomas and no Casey?! Is Taylor made of Teflon or something, it must be a case of we paid so much for him make it work!
Overall though I like the look of that and would be what most would pick I think.
Happy to give the new bloke a go. But, no Dan C, puts him already down my list.
Im guessing this is wingback with Fred and Harvie
Casey surely must be injured. There’s not a chance he’d be left out of the squad altogether by choice.
Where is Casey? Just the type of character needed in our present situation. Must be injured.
Jesus. And I woke with a little optimism this morning.
Conner Taylor been one of our best players this season.
Quite like the look of this line up on paper, but it’s impossible to call.
Really is time for this big-budget squad to step up and show some character.
Asides from missing Casey I don’t see too much wrong with that squad so I’m not sure what all the doom and gloom is about? A returning Harvie. Grimmer back in the side for leadership. Anders (probably) at CB and Morley, CBM and Henderson in midfield as many were saying here in midweek we needed.
The one bit I’m confused about is only one winger on the pitch - Fred.
Mayve, but he isnt our best CB if all are fit.
Two left sided centrebacks, only one winger. Radical.
Its a 352. Fred and Harvie wingback, jack centre back. Surely
There are some interesting choices in that line up for sure.
I’m not entirely sure how we are going to play but I have felt a midfield of 2 + Woodrow in the ten has left us light in the middle of the park.
Having 3 plus Woodrow and one less winger may fix that but leave us lighter upto.
4 3 12 with Woodrow behind Fred and Wareham, maybe?
Grimmer back in after missing out completely is spinning up conspiracies I have said others are doing at the moment, that I am struggling to keep in.
I think you’re probably right.
Only alternative I could think of was 4-4-2 with Fred and Henderson on the flanks. The latter has played wide at some points in his career I believe.
But if I had to bet, it’d be 3 at the back and wingbacks.
Although would seem odd not to have Sam Parker on the bench as he’s a natural wing-back or Silko who’s played that position too.
He was also in the defence, along with Casey, that had an absolute nightmare of a ten minutes that conceded 3 vs MK and couldn’t pass water.
I’m not saying they haven’t played well. But we all know Taylor in particular can have a mistake or 2 in him that concedes goals.
This season he is. And replacing him with Cook is scandalous.
