I wouldn’t say I’m excited by the prospect of this. I’ll never want our club to fail, but if I’m completely honest I won’t be as emotionally invested in next season if Dodds is still here
i will not be spending another minute watching us play again under this head coach …he has killed us
At least we came out of our shell for the first ten minutes of the second half. Before that it was the usual over-cautious stuff and an 11th consecutive goalless first half.
On 1st Feb we were 4 points clear of Wrexham and playing attractive football. I think it’s fair to say everything has changed for the worse since then.
Norris feigns injury then straight down the tunnel without acknowledging the fans again. Class. Well in Rice and Dodds bringing in a bunch of scummers. That would never ever happen under Ainsworth. Disgusting.
Well chaps it’s play off time.
Can’t help but think we’ll be 5th by bedtime tonight and also next weekend.
My prediction after the Shrews game was 5th. For a while it looked overly negative, but now must be odds on.
Would love to bump into Rice in a area not covered by cctv…
Your bedtime is 7:15pm?
We finally have a young poster on here.
At least if we bore our way to Wembley we’ll be going with no hopes whatsoever.
Be lucky to shift 10,000 tickets.
Its good to get younger fans in than the usual coffin dodgers
If people really believe that Wrexham can buy off the refs then it would be easy for them to pay our players to take it easy.
Nonsense, obviously, AS THEY DO IT FOR FREE
Coffin dodgers top tier that
We’re not going to Wembley without a change of manager.
Don’t worry about not selling tickets for that. The bigger issue is not selling any tickets for our second leg against Stockport after a defeat to nil at their place.
It would be the most Wycombe thing to go through like 7-2 on aggregate just to not show up at Wembley.
When you think of the bigger picture of the last few months, it’s no surprise it’s tailed off so badly.
We signed 12 players in Jan. For the end of the game, we had about 3 players who’d been with us last year.
Kone has looked cooked for a while. He’s played lots of minutes, and his head looks as shattered as his legs. Earlier this season he’d take a bad pass, it’d bobble off his touch, yet somehow he’d run away with it. Now everything bounces away from him to an opposition.
We persist with the formation which hasn’t yielded a good chance in open play in an age.
Under Ainsworth we seemed more than the some of our parts. Recently, it’s been the reverse where average L1 players look ready for the conference. Grimmer and Leahy today simply couldn’t find a man with any pass.
I want Dodds to do well. I want him to have the time Blooms had, and I think booing at the end seems utterly counterproductive. Yet, towards the end it looked like noone had a clue what to do.
Boring and negative.
We look so lost. I LOVED watching us at the start of the season. It was the BEST footballing Wycombe team I ever had the joy of watching.
Since February we have been so unbelievably boring.
I thought Dodds said he wasnt going to be changing much? It is the complete oppostie!!!
Not a single save made by their keeper today. Kone miles off the pace, every player’s first intention is to turn around and pass backwards. We’ve really bottled such a strong position in the last couple of months. A shame.
Play offs it is. Let’s hope that someone in the building can motivate the players to start again now. Expecting a fairly chastening two leg defeat.
Even with that in mind, I still think the minority of fans booing the team at full time are a disgrace and shouldn’t be welcomed back.
I think the harsh thruth is that this is actually our level and the autum was a ridiculous over achievement we’ll likely never see again. I’d absolutely love to be wrong about that but it’s been bothering me for a while now.
I’m not a coffin dodger I’m an avoider
