Norris stormed at the ref. 20 extra seconds was bizarre though

To sum up: it was Luton at home.

That was night and day different to the Bolton performance. And that has nothing to do with the centre backs.

Interesting.

Im still unsure why we stopped playing Junior from the start. Yes, hes frustrating but he offers something for them to think about. Especially a back 3.

Last week really annoyed me, this week its just, they deserved the win, we got outperformed.

Id like to see MvS have a run, not sure Luton away with the reserve centre back partnership though is the ideal start

Poor performance but 5th and 6th still up for grabs if we can put a run together.

I saw Norris get booked but not a red.

Another season in League 1 beckons, not so bad in the greater scheme of things especially if we can build stronger for next season.

The only depressing thing about being in League 1 next season, is that we will likely have to play The Franchise and their nauseating customers.

Bloody Luton, we have a shocking record against them

2-1, to the referee… Having sung that, we were shite. Couldn’t put it in the mixer, couldn’t win the second ball, never looked like having the belief to win that game. Lowered shoulders from 65 minutes after two set piece goals and 0 points from 6 at the business end of the season. Too many poor choices for 90+ minutes.

Whew, had to get that off my chest. Somehow only one win off a playoff spot and anything can happen. Unlike last season I think we could go up and stay up given the right summer signings. But we need to have the belief that we can win every game and that was lacking today. We’ll, that and any plan for getting the ball from the final third and into their goal. Sort that and we could pull off an unlikely playoff push. As in the Championship season, it all comes down to an away day in Wales. COYB

Looked decent last few mins, such a shame the goal was so late.

Strangely we’re still within touching distance of the play offs but surely won’t be after Tuesday.

Barring some incredible set of away results we’ll probably finish 9th.

And need to make a few more Morley Hendo type signings than Westy, Finky, Taylor even Allen.

We miss our 2 most important CBs - Skura will be a better option than Taylor, and we do tend to step up against better teams - hoping we can get a result, will again be watching from France xx

Lethargic from the start. Very poor performance. We really didn’t look interested today.

I didnt see the first goal. But from end of first half onto second. Taylor wasnt really an issue. He looks clumsy with the ball but not that bad.

Two goals from corners with absolutely no one getting up to challenge and a goalkeeper who doesn’t command his box at all. Norris is a good shot stopper but very poor from corners.

I suspect that we’ve been dim enough to give Norris a deal until summer 2027. But if we haven’t I’d hope we move him on.

And see if we can somehow do the same with Taylor, Fink, Lowry and maybe even Allen.

We will probably take an outrageous hit on cost though.

Is it a confidence thing? with Anders and Casey out we look look defeated before we even kick off. There isn’t the belief in the remaining players that we can win.

I fear some of the players are already thinking that they stand no chance on Tuesday night and probably don’t want to play.

I will just draw a veil over that and say:

ā€˜Happy TrevChairboys80 Day’ everyone!
