I’m going to go controversial and say Morley doesn’t start. Not becasue he isn’t match fit but because he has only been with the squad for 2 or 3 days.
Same team that started last Tuesday.
There is almost a nice symmetry of playing Mansfield away if Morley plays today.
Just over a year ago it was the first game of the post Bloomfield era (forever linked with the excellence of Morley during the autumn of 2024).
The intervening year or so feels like a lost 12 months so for me it is fitting that the new era starts today at Field Mill.

Duff started Bell, Woodrow etc. when they signed that week. I’m going to suggest Morley is 95% likely to start
Duff will use Allen later in the game. No one knows the status of Anders as it stands. Woodrow and Fred off each other as per second half Tuesday would be my choice.
You know leahy will be getting selected probably at the expense of CBM. Grimmer to keep his place. I didn’t like Harris on the wing Tuesday. As long as they start today how they finished Tuesday I’ll be happy. F**k around like first half Tuesday and we are in for a long afternoon
You’re almost certainly right. But I also think Duff is the sort of manager that instills a sense that players need to earn their place in performamces and I don’t think any of those that started (or indeed finished) on Tuesday deserve to loose their place in the team.
I fully expect Morely will do enough to earn a regular place in the team, just that today, he may have to do so from the bench.
With Bell and Woodrow I kinda see things differently in that they were needed as we didn’t have players prooving they deserved a spot in the side, in any position, really.
That was Dodds who started them wasn’t it? More a case of needs must as we had nobody else.

For continuity same team that started second half v Wigan except for Morley for Leahy.
Anders is a miss, but at least Allen is basically like for like.

Actually pleased CBM kept his place, if Morley were to come in straight away as is the case, I feared he would lose the spot with Leahy staying in. Think he has earned himself the chance to stay in the side when he had been perhaps a little unlucky in having bit parts earlier in the season.
That said, I don’t see Leahy being on the bench quite so much as being dropped, and rather than he has earned himself a rest after apparently putting his body on the line and playing through pain in the recent week.s
