Sometimes duff surprises me, i wouldn’t be surprised to see Woodrow start aswell as Wareham, and even Josh in, leaving Hendo and CBM out.

The joys of Chapel Lane being closed still. It’s been rubbish all week, especially when the schools started again.
Looking forward to this game. I suspect Cook for Harvie will be only chance. Woodrow performed well on Tuesday and don’t think he deserves to be dropped despite Wareham availability. Hoping for same midfield three.

I’m hoping for Woodrow and Wareham. If they make a good partnership (really hoping so) we can have some marketing fun with W&W.

Except Steve Cook will not be at left back.
Woodrow will play. He’ll link up with Jayden Wareham very well. Not exactly a 10 but certainly deeper than he has often been.

I believe ‘lessons are being learned’ is correct, as would ‘lessons have been learnt’ be, as learned is a continuous form and learnt is used for a completed action - cf ‘the fire burned brightly’ v ‘the fire is burnt out’

They’ve played
Oxford (15th), Huddo (2nd), Leicester (13th) and Wigan (23rd)
Are you judging the size of the club on their name? Or that 2 of their 4 opponents were relegated last season versus only 1 of ours?

We can’t keep coming up with excuse after excuse for not competing, not being creative enough, making too many individual mistakes etc etc. If we don’t look competent or hungry enough against a struggling, newly promoted side that plays a predictably direct style then start sounding the alarm in earnest.

Just my opinion that of the 4 teams they have played, vs the four teams we have played, their 4 opponents will - by the end of the season - finish ahead of the 4 we have played, on average.
Will be an interesting one, as i think those two sets of 4 are quite even really.
Blackpool over performing so far, Plymouth, Oxford and Leicester under performing.
But Wigan probably won’t do much.
