Quite positive after Tuesday’s performance. Expecting goals, and a comfortable win.
Setting off around 9am with Ellis, picking up the little Wycombe fan i met last season, he’s been a few away matches, but this will be his first time going to a home game.
Franchise. The only club I’d happily see go out of business. Oxford, Luton, Reading, Slough should all be in leagues below us of course but this shower? The dustbin of history awaits them.
spoke to a oxford fan who watched mk against them a few weeks ago, very tall physical side long ball style. They will disrupt the game as much as they can.As soon as oxford played football mk couldn’t keep up so you would think we can do the same.
Lovely weather conditions at AP this morning and expected to continue through the day and match. No more than 10% chance of any little rain and 21c with sun and clouds for the match duration.
I would not worry. Paul Warne’s pre match interview seems to suggest “Wycombe have a few unknown entities in Wareham from Exeter and Tovide from Colchester”
I fear for this game if I am honest. MK have had a harder start than us and will look at us as their chance to get a win on the board and come at us very quickly in the openning 10/15 mins, where we can look vulnerable.
If we can survive that opening 15 mins or 1/4 of the match I am hopeful we can get something from the game as our new players start linking and figuring each other out. But I am equally fearful that we might have thrown away the chance of a positive result by that point.
I think this will be the “two teams both with a number of new players and who integrates them into their style first will do best” derby.
