Dull, boring and monotone - dragging Sam down with him

It’s Will. That’s all I know.

If poor football was evidence of people never coming back, why are you always returning?

Poor performance is absolutely down to poor recruitment. I feel for Duff having to deal with some poor quality players and a bench that’s not actually overflowing with talent. If we’re relying on Fink or Woodrow to score, we’ve got a long wait. I suppose we could bring on a 17 year old. Sums up our recruitment.

I don’t think anyone’s been bad, just no one has been good, and its a bit scruffy by both teams.

Id have Huggins on for Grimmer, and in second half Mullins for Woodrow.

Oh how stats lie.

Despite the fact that for over 30 mins of that half we were poor, all the half-time stats suggest we were on top….

Any hoo, Taylor Allen is having a bit of a mare…

Pretty even midtable division three game so far, the only difference we forgot how to defend the one time Peterborough looked like scoring.

My thoughts exactly. It’s terrible.

I know we are known for unbiased opinions on our comms and have been for a while. But eff me, a little bit of spunk is all we ask.

Speak for yourself!

Cam Stones to get ā€œManā€ ofMatch?

I don’t. I think Sam is superb especially with Jeevsie. Just maybe today needs reconsidering

:joy: It’s the Alf Ramsay in me thats speaking

Phil was jocular and Sam isn’t. I’m perfectly happy with Sam, ignoring whoever Will is.

The lone positive for me so far is flashes of quality already from Harris, which will hopefully only increase as he finds his feet in the team.

We look so, so, lost in attack without Fred.

I’m keen to hear the views of the Finkites out there who have been clamouring for him to start.

352 is leaving the wing backs dreadfully exposed here. Grimmer cant do the thing hes good at, because hes trying to get forward to attack, which hes not good at.

Fink and Woodrow are trying to do the same thing. We want Morley, but we need a striker that can run in behind.

Like this, we cannot counter. We simply recover the ball, turn and pass back

Fink had one nice touch.

Malone has gone AWOL.

Its working for Fink exactly as I predicted. He has no one running off him, and no width to supply him.

Maybe put Harris further forward and get another into midfield.

But, not sure any real judgement can be made apart from hebisnt ad good as Fred in this set up.

Every week someone makes a similar comment about whoever is not on the bench is obviously off.

When almost every week it’s more down to having a huge squad and only 18 can be in the squad.
