Good line up. Only thing I would have done differently would be put Fink on bench but agree with starting eleven.

I’ll take that. :clap:t2:

We won’t snitch if you use a VPN. Well only if we lose :joy:

Is van Sas injured or out of favour?

Got a knock in training. But that was well over a week ago I think

Admin announced he had a “knock” last week, so one would assume he’s still struggling with something.

Really nice we are starting to see a settled starting 11 and with Junior, CBM and McNeilly on the bench we have players who can make an impact.

Assuming all the loan players stick around I think the only priority in Jan is signing another striker as competition/back up to Woodrow.

Pleased with that lineup! Must admit that I did not expect to see Lowry in the starting side today, even after his superb display on Tuesday. That’s not a sleight against him, as I think he’s been much better in recent weeks. I am slightly surprised we’ve gone with such an attacking side, including someone like Lowry who is not suited to being out of possession. Duff clearly thinks we will have a lot of the ball today and is turning the screw a bit by picking Lowry from the off. Very positive.

Certainly very attacking line up, does worry me slightly that we may be slightly open but in Duff we trust. Hoping the midfield 3 can real show their creative class today

Black shorts / navy shorts is the only thing i can think of that the ref has had a problem with…?

It’s never previously been a problem when we’ve played Port Vale so would suggest it is “marketing” decision.

For everyone following my gripping updates, I’ve managed to get a pass through WycombeTV, where the game is also available for international fans.

Agreed - but I have heard before when we’ve had these discussions, that the referee has a say, and it’s possibly ‘personal opinion’ based rather than prescriptive. A former gasroomer and prominent Surrey CCC fan would be “absolutely fuming” (in a “why oh why?”) style, over this one…

Good old “Eddie” !

There is often an away kit sponsor clause to make sure they get exposure for a minimum amount of games. Probably filling the quota I reckon.

I seem to remember seeing a similar reasoning for times we’ve worn the third kit etc at home or when there was no clash - some sort of contractual obligation to wear each kit at least x amount of times. Could be wrong though

So looking forward to seeing Lowry start a league game as a No. 10 for the first time. Big opportunity for him.

Why would he not have Fink in that Squad after that Goal is beyond me? Never fall in love with a loan player they say. We need to have our own Striker coming out. If he isnt get game time how will he do the job we got him for. I wasnt impressed with Mcneily on last outing . Would not have had him in the squad roday .

I think you always have McNeilly in there for pace. Not sure you need Huggins as a sub though.
