Will go 9th today if we win.

I didn’t realise it was on Sky, thanks!

I was going to go on and buy it but just spotted this first!

How is it on Sky and at 3pm? I thought that wasn’t allowed

Internationals break I’d assumed.

International breaks permit 3PMs. It doesn’t make any sense.

I’ll be halfway over the Altantic by KO. Really hoping BAs WiFi works and lets me find a stream, but not hopeful.

Given how much rain there’s been, does anyone know if there is a pitch inspection scheduled?

I don’t know that, but I’ve been on their forum and nobody has expressed any concern about a postponement

have a little…patience

I feel that this could be the greatest day of our season so far. I certainly hope we don’t come undone. The boys need to go out there and have no regrets. Duff is a better man manager than Dodds, under him we seemed cursed and his tenure felt like an eternity of dull football. Duff won’t play the kids for the sake of it and he doesn’t want his players to be angels. He says to the fans ‘let me entertain you’ with winning football!

One game at a time. Port Vale is always a tough game for us, especially up there.

Why are we playing in yellow? Our blue kit doesn’t clash in any way with their white shirts and black shorts.

Really don’t know what to expect today. The data-heads and podcasters have pointed towards Vale’s huge underperformances in XG, XGA, XGD and XPts, noting that they expect an upturn in fortunes. Their own fans say that their last three games have been pretty abhorrent and they expect more struggles today. Then you’ve got the weather-related consequences of the pitch and possible wind complications. Both managers are very experienced, so will be well-equipped to prepare for it. Today is a very challenging one to predict. The bookies certainly seem to agree, with the odds wide open.

Days like today are the ones where I tend to find Fred disappears and lacks the fight, whilst he’s still dining out on last week’s man of the match performance. I really hope he continues his hot streak, but I fear today could be a classic example of Fred going MIA. I expect us to name a (nearly) unchanged side from our last league game, whilst we try and continue momentum and build cohesion in a squad that’s chopped and changed so much in last few transfer windows.

COYB!

Unchanged for me, minus Mullins call up which might give Boyd Munce to really stake a claim, I see a player in there.

The only issue with Boyd-Munce is that he introduces another left foot into the midfield, thus breaking some of the habitual patterns of play and passing angles developed in recent weeks. I still think he is more likely to come into the side than Westergaard, but I do wonder if that extra left foot could disrupt some fluidity today.

Jenis FC home kit is all yellow.

WAKE UP, SHEEPLE

Hopefully the players haven’t started to believe their own hype and remain focussed. Duff doesn’t seem like the kind of guy who’ll let them step off the gas. But let’s face it, a draw at a ropey place like Port Vale is always a decent result.

Drawing away at a side in the bottom four is never a decent result!

Got the in flight WiFi working so halfway there.

Unfortunately it seems like BA don’t use a UK IP for it though, so I can’t watch legitimately through a NowTV day pass.
