I had 3-1 and I admit to being slightly torn when it was 3-0 and Vale were having a brief spell of attacking.

We’re gonna batter Stockport on Friday.
My main takeaway from that match is that I think Jack Grimmer needs to spend the summer with the mindset that he’s now a central defender. Huggins and Fred’s interplay on the right mirrored Harvie and Vidigal on the left and made us look so much more balanced and speedy, with the Port Vale defence not knowing which side the next attack would come from. So many delicate one-twos and overlaps on both wings. It was a real pleasure to see.
