Is it 11 without a league win now?

I know we have some stats monsters on here, but does anyone know if we’ve had a manager survive with 11 games without a win before? Or what the highest amount of games in the league without changing manager is?

Yes it’s sort of hidden between 2 seasons and we do have that cup stolen win this season, but the numbers are getting a bit worrying here.

Quite frankly I couldn’t care less. I’ve spent £1500+ a year following this side in the last few years and I can call out shite when I see it. Right now it’s shite. He’s had a nightmare few weeks. We’ve not won a game in 10+. I’m allowed an informed opinion. I barely miss a game.

Bizarre post.

That’s pretty much what I took from his post match interview.

While He believes in his style of play. He wasn’t happy with what he saw. There are improvements to make and to work on.

You’ve just stopped listening after the bit he says he believes in his style of play

Not sure if you listened to the same interview as me, the one on three counties was another bizarre word salad about the group, control, being proud of the group for not trying to get the ball forward when losing and a selection of other things that you never want to hear your manager say after eleven games without a win.

Does Sandro Lomtadze play or has played for WWFC for the academy yet?
Does anyone know?

Didn’t both Blooms and Gaz go around 20 without a win?

Still no idea what the formation is but Harvie and Allen on the left with Grimmer and Tilley on the right looked good. Boyd Munce looked a decent player and Henderson was a revelation. Westergaard looked good too. I would make Fred our Fink until he turns up.

Pleased Udoh got an assist. Tilley goal was special…as was Wing’s.

Mullins and Lowry are tricky players which are always nice to watch…but Mullins pips it for me.

There is definitely something there. Great fight back that really should not have been needed but players rolled their sleeves up.

Md was pleased the players ignored the moans of our fans…but he must know that it’s hard for everyone outside ‘the group’ to appreciate’ the project’ when you’re losing every week.

I also think we have a good defence and cannot work out what is going wrong.!

The iPad Men don’t come cheap.

Blooms was 1 win in 17. 1 win, 9 draws and 7 defeats. And we threw away 3 or 4 wins deep into stoppage time in that run, one was tge 99th mimute IIRC.

Front three should be Fred, Fink, Stones for the weakest pun ever.

I didn’t think Bloomfield would be anything like that in the league, so had a check

In 2023/24 it looks like we went 12 league games without a win

2022/23 we only went 4 without a win under him.

That’s was the disastrous three at the back experiment wasn’t it?

Yeah but Blooms was outrageously unlucky in a lot of his games. He also had a bunch of inadequate players, many of which aren’t professional any more. Dodds has had millions and millions spent. Next argument.

Controversial view perhaps but I thought the first 9 months under Blooms was much, much worse than it ever has been under Dodds.

Anyway, I’m just glad I was told not to worry after the Bradford game cos we’d win the next two and be sat here with seven points this evening.

I actually agree it was awful in places.

But he was trying to take a long ball team and turn it into a passing team with limited finances to do it, so I cut him some slack.

Plus he’d not managed 9 points from 15 games in his previous job, alienating an entire fanbase.

He’s back doing it at Luton apparently, and their fans are starting to get restless there.

It was poor, but then hadn’t had 3-4m pumped into the squad by then.

I doubt MD is going anywhere. I would have more faith in them having a plan if they backed him than I would if they sacked him in a kneejerk fashion and parachuted someone else into ‘the project ’.

I’m not totally on side but I see green shoots.

We also don’t know what his brief has been.

It might be to develop a lovely playing style irrespective of finish position, provided we don’t go down.

Though you suspect putting £3-4m into the squad would mean that was a pretty meagre aim.

But then after the Kone sale we’re probably heading into neutral ish territory, or will do with some of the bolt ons.
