- standard of football is dire
- Bell needs to get into the gym
- Leahy needs to get off free kicks
- Casey playing well.
Mr Rice really owes it to the fans to do some explaining about these signings and the amount of money spent.
Maybe an apology, and a promise that lessons have been learnt.

I suspect the euphoria of Dodds leaving has carried Duff this far. but that can’t last forever.

Dan Harvie has been a good signing, probably the best since Rice arrived but he doesn’t get ahead of JJ at LB.
Quitirna, Lowry, Boyd-Munce, Henderson look like they might be good. But it’s hard to know because they don’t get consistent minutes, and we rarely perform well as a side.
The rest of the permanent recruitment looks like downgrades all over the park.
Its as Duff said last week, ‘weve bought in loads of similiar-ish players’. Loads of skillful, but incredibly light attackers, really.
We cannot get hold of it in midfield here. Leahy drops short, Abbot is good but has 3 around him, and Henderson pushes too high.
What’s going on now?
I’ve not been impressed by Junior yet in the few minutes that he’s actually been fit.

What changes to this line-up would you make to add an attacking threat?
I’m curious (and bored) and it might be obvious to you but not necessarily to the rest of us.

The problem was not Dodds and won’t be Duff, though I hope we pick up more points and at least compete for lower-mid table (15th-20th).
The real problem is Dan Rice and his team who have assembled a squad that looks like it’s incapable of finishing any better than about mid table and that would be with everyone performing well.

The new players all look very lightweight and are easily pushed off the ball. Last season’s players were much better, which is pretty obvious I guess as we were competing at the top of the league
No invention in the midfield so far. Lowry on for Henderson please.
