I’d probably have started with Abbott. And found a space for Lowry on bench. But few complaints with that team.
It’s really nice to see a manager telling the players that if you do the job you’ll keep the shirt. It’s a long season and I feel that Abbott, McNeilly and Huggins will get their chances.

Yeah I’m sure the players who missed out on today’s squad will still get their chances e.g. Bartolo probably could’ve been on the bench over Fink who just doesn’t look like he’s ready. A few who did well in the other two games not involved at all today but it’s a pretty big squad and Duff will rotate.

They mainly have it to piss off Milton Keynes FC and remind them who the real Dons are but definitely a nice thing to have.

I think it’s pretty normal to have sides you fancy playing and sides you don’t.
I always feel certain we’ll never beat Luton, especially at Adams Park. By contrast, I look forward to games against Bristol Rovers. Even if we’re on a bad run, I’m confident we’ll win.
However much teams change, games versus Wimbledon tend to be horrible, niggly matches where we come unstuck.
Hope I’m proven completely wrong and we’re all happy at 2:30pm!

To the guy with his son, who I met on the platform at Wycombe, I’m now in the ground.
A leisurely stroll down from Earlsfield station and I even had time for coffee at Waterloo station while waiting for a train.
