A learning experience. I think there were times we looked decent, but they created a lot of chances and there are only so many saves Axe can make.

I think Chelsea are the hardest team I’ve seen the Chairgirls play, all their players are really quick. Axe kept the score down, it’s hard to play against that pace for 90 minutes, and unfortunate to have to play with 10 for a good 15-20 minutes. We stuck to it to the end, a good experience.

You could see why they are in a WSL U21 side, really good ball retention, good range of passing, great pace on the wings and clinical in front of goal.
The result is a bit harsh on the Chairgirls because I thought we played well in patches especially the first half.
