Steve Claridge?
Luther Blissett?
Well thank you for putting a downer on my day #glasshalfempty. Fancy mentioning Dave Winfield…… And I’d only just finished my trauma therapy after seeing him play.
Hey, I liked Dave Winfield (I was about 8)
I remember seeing him getting completely outmuscled at a corner away at Northampton, by Bayo. It was like Winfield wasn’t even there.
to be fair, I dont think anyone really could outmuscle Bayo
Jamie Cureton?
I remember one player putting him on the floor once. That was a real surprise.
The Clarets website. That is Burnleys. Saying that Mike Duff was at their academy game on Tuesday. I know that he was a youth coach and under 23 coach there. Thoughts?
No new Wycombe manager has won their first game since 1988. In that case I will be happy with a draw today. Northampton have won their last three games on the trot without conceding.
Sam Grace would like a word
New keeper?
Correct, could be others but Jamie came to mind when I read the thread.
Yeah saw that too
Song for Duff.
Duff the Magic Gaffer lives by the sea.
Recruited in the Autumn mist, and will take us to Wembley. ![]()
First recorded by Peter,Paul and Mary in 1963.
There were no hugs from Duff when he met the players. That always concerned me when Dodds did that on his arrival.
Another one for the list:
Hugged players upon arrival
Why did this concern you?
Ohh, I love that.
Hopefully we get a decent cup run (or, who knows, a playoff spot) and get chance to sing it.
