Mike Dodds Stats

I dont think anyone on here wants him to fail. Perhaps I’ve missed those posts in amongst the Ainsworth /Bloomfield were both crap and just lucky.

Opinions may differ on how he succeeds though. Or if he can.

I want him to power our team up the League table and not just the possession and chances created stats.

If he gets us up I will celebrate quietly at home so as not to upset you.:slightly_smiling_face:

I dont want Mike Dodds to fail. He comes across as a genuine nice bloke.. I’d love for him to succeed with Wycombe, but it doesn’t look likely judging on his time here as weve gone backwards.

It’s an intriguing stand point to argue that our old manager, arguably our most ever successful manager did it “by chance” or by hanging about for a while.

While a guy who is having a decent crack at creating a legacy amongst the Smith, Adams and Smillies is backed unconditionally, despite this squad having more spent on it, then the rest of our league history, and showing very little at all over 8months.

You never did answer my question about what was our low ball offer for Morley, and what were Bolton asking..

But anyway, on this one, I agree.

I dare say like most fans I just want us to be successful. If it’s under Doddsy, brilliant. If it’s not, the sooner we get to a point where we recognise that and make a change, the sooner we can get back on the right track.

Never easy to recognise when the “right” point is though.

Are we there already? Or will we only be in 10, 20, 30, 40 games time?

I do think tonight could be a hugely important game in regards to how this season is going to go. After his interview at the weekend, I think we’ll either see us kick into action or a complete capitulation.

Im led to believe we offered 100k for a 6month loan.

Ainsworth’s brand of football belongs in the Championship, because that’s where he got us, unlike anyone else.

. Yer right . That’s why he’s a manager in league 2.

Gaz’s teams got better as finances and players improved…everyone except the fans and managers of the teams we beat and some Gasroomers could see that.

QPR was Gaz’s Damned United period.

Why do you keep repeating this ad nauseam?

He’s won promotion from league 2 and 1, and was unlucky to not keep us up in the championship with the 2 star players we signed both missing out for 6months of the season, Derby’s “behaviour” and the Horgan offside goal against the same team.

Just because he’s currently with a league 2 team doesn’t at all mean that’s his level of ability.

As if it was simply a case of the better a manager you are the higher a level you currently are managing at, Dodds would be a better manager than Ainsworth.

Which would be a premise so criminally ludicrous not even you would try and argue it.

People have very short memories.

We didn’t look anything like a long ball / limited team in the championship under Ainsworth.

The thought of what he could do with these millions… we’d not have a team of flim flammers who can’t physically dominate anyone. We’d have a beautiful mix and we’d all be looking forward to going to games for some attacking football.

Rather than 4 games into a season thinking, ahh flaming heck I have to go to the game tonight.

See if we can even get close to scoring a first half goal for once.

Ah you’re back . I would put to you that you are wrong. I think if you were correct he would have had a host of championship teams wooing him when he was taking time out . He may well have  I very much doubt it as he ended up at relegation threatened Shrewsbury. I am sorry but he is not in demand at the Championship level and it really is not difficult to see why.

If it makes you sleep better at night then keep telling yourself this . If he ever steps foot into the championship again I personally guarantee you I will give you £100. He won’t because his brand of football is not wanted at that level . Period .

I look forward to a pay day.

More chance than Doddsy as manager I’d say. Even with our huge budget.

He could probably be a coach back at that level though, less scrutiny.

Why are people interacting with what is clearly a troll?

Yep agreed. Onto the block list I think now.

He’s easier to avoid on FB as his nonsense is drowned out on other threads. But he’s literally incessant on here where only about 4 threads move at once.

Surely a troll is someone whose purpose is to repeat the same arguments over and over regardless of reality or counter arguments.

I don’t think Dev is a troll!

Got yourself a possible pay day some time in the future also.

To say that someone will never do something that they got paid to do not once but twice, is a little troll’ish. But he’s put in writing for all to see, so good luck to you both and Gaz ofc.
